does this bother anyone else?

I am amazed at the amount of people asking for questions and answers from the TEAS. Does anyone else think this is CHEATING? I spent alot of time studying and I am offended by people trying to take the lazy way out. I got a good score and I am proud of myself for it but I am offended by the requests for answers that I am reading. Why would anyone who took the test give answers, allowing others to get better scores and thereby unfairly "raising the bar" for everyone who is doing it the honest way.

As long as there is something to cheat about, there will be people who prefer cheating over working hard. As long as you honestly earned your score you have no need to worry about what others do. If asked, tell them no.

I agree that they should not be posting specific questions, but there is nothing wrong with telling people what types of questions to expect on the exam. For instance, I have heard that the TEAS study guide does not cover nearly the same stuff in the science section as the real test does and have been advised to broaden my studying. I will still have to do the work and learn everything, but at least I will be steered in the correct direction and not misled by something that should be helping me out.

I think whoever is going to be looking for particular questions and answers in these forums is borderline cheating, but asking about general content does not mean I won't know my stuff.

I don't think there is anything wrong with asking someone what kind of questions or even asking for an example of the kind of question that might be asked. Can it really ever be considered cheating? I doubt anyone is getting the same test seeing as they aren't being taken at the same time if they are asking people who have already been tested so there's no guarantee that question will even be given. People ask me all the time what kind of questions are on the HESI and I've given them a few examples so they have an idea of what I'm talking about, instead of just saying "oh it was algebra".

Its kind of like saying that having the study guide is a form of cheating because there have been instances where some questions are exactly identical from the study guide, but I wouldn't say that people who have it are at an unfair advantage of people who don't.

I was not talking about content, I was talking about specific questions and answers. I was fine with giving advice like know your elements or review the hydrologic cycle, that is fine. What I dont think is ok is saying there was a question that said....

Do you see what I mean though?

There is no guarantee that the same questions will pop up for these students and even the answers may not be in the same order. I truly believe karma comes to bite cheaters and if they ever approach you just say NO.
