Boston College

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

I was wandering if anyone from this site goes to Boston College? and if so how is the program. I applied for next year.

No, organic chemistry is not a prerequisite for BC. I am a SRNA at BC and all I had was Introduction to Medical Chemistry (3 lec hours and 1 lab hour course) it was sufficient. That was all that was required for my BSN. I did not have to take any more chemistry.

However the best thing to do is to call the SON and ask them if you have questions about admissions. They are very friendly and will promptly give you the most accurate information.

Good luck

What's your email address? I'd love to ask a couple more questions if that's alright with you! Thanks!

Who did you use as your references? Do you feel like you are getting a good education? do you feel like you are going to be prepared for boards and your future career? Also do you know how many people applied for your class and how many people interviewed? Was it the first time you applied or had you applied before? Ok, I know i'm throwing a lot of questions out there sorry. One last one, were you taking graduate level classes prior to your application/interview?

Thanks so much!

BostonICURN --- Hi, I believe I met you at the Rush Interview in June. I went to undergrad at BC and we talked about how we were both applying to Chicago and Boston schools. Would love to chat more about Rush/BC. I am probably heading out to BC in September for an interview on the 16th. Let me know if you know how to message privately on here! Thanks
