Hello!
I decided to start a thread for those applying to BC's DNP CRNA program starting in 2022. I'm actually surprised no one else made one yet. But now we can talk with each other and share this experience together! I'm excited for it!
Hey all, I just had my interview. It wasn't bad, no truly clinical questions or anything tricky. It was mostly just questions about my ICU experience, why I want to be a CRNA, and what I've done to prepare for school and being a CRNA. They really don't talk about their program at the beginning like some programs do, they just jumped into asking questions. It was really one-sided, where they basically asked a question, I answered, they nodded or said "good" or "interesting" and then asked the next question. It felt really rapid fire, and it was only 15 minutes but I was pretty much talking for the entirety of it. There were a couple of "tell me about a time you" questions, but they weren't especially hard. It's really hard to be personable over Zoom, so maybe in-person interviews are longer, but I was nervous and I'm sure I talked fast so that could have been part of it too. The three people on the panel (program director and two professors) are nice as far as I can tell, but again I just talked the whole time and they listened haha
I had a Zoom interview today too. We had the option to do in-person or Zoom when we first got invited to interview. I think all of the interviews done today were Zoom, while all of the ones done 11/22 were in person.

I forgot to ask too! I have no idea when we’ll hear back haha

Does anyone know what kind of questions to expect for the interview?
