@CRNASOON2B So I was an out of state applicant last year and was still working in NC at the time of application. So my references were from my hospital at the time. This year I had new references from my hospital in SC. I did use the same essays as I did the previous year.

I interviewed the first day (the 9th) and found out last night

I got in!

I haven’t heard anything either

I had a Zoom interview today too. We had the option to do in-person or Zoom when we first got invited to interview. I think all of the interviews done today were Zoom, while all of the ones done 11/22 were in person. I forgot to ask too! I have no idea when we’ll hear back haha

November 22nd interviewees, how did the interview go? Mostly get-to-know you and personal questions?

Just got accepted to U of SC Columbia campus! Anyone else hear anything back this week?

So it’s over five days, 12 two hour slots a day. We selected our slot. It’s just two hours, 1.5 hours of that is the interview part and the other half hour is a campus tour. I don’t think we’ll interact much with other applicants since the interviews are at separate times throughout the day.

I took it earlier this week. It’s literally not bad at all, nothing to worry about or prepare for. Just CCRN type questions, legitimately took me 5 minutes.

I didn’t reach out last year. I don’t think it would be worth it to reach out until after the 29th of November. Maybe if you don’t hear anything by the end of that week, you could reach out, but I feel like that would just give you closure earlier if the answer is no. I don’t think there would be any way to speed up the process or find out where you stand in the list of alternate interviewers unfortunately

Anyone else getting nervous? Still haven’t heard anything back

So last year I was an alternate for an interview and I didn’t find out that I definitively didn’t get an interview until all the interviews were over. So I’m not sure how soon you’d know if you did end up getting an interview. But, the people who are offered an interview this year have to accept their interview spot by the end of the day on November 29th, so I don’t think you’d hear anything before then. Hope that helps
