Fluids and Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy
I still refer to it. For that portion of lecture we an instructor who was just a trip. She was pretty disorganized. On top of that , she is VERY smart and had trouble bringing complex things to a simple novice level. I also had her for clinical, which I loved. She had us do anything and everything we could get our hands on. However, I found her very frustrating for lecture. She was just too all over the place. I wound up with one of the highest grades in my class on the Fluids and Electrolytes test. That book saved my a . . .er . . . neck! Hope it helps. Good luck in the fall!

I am getting ready for fall semester and thinking about books. I have such a hard time reading all the boring words in my textbooks. I thought some other students could share the books/cds, etc., that helped them through the hard stuff.
For me, I LOVE my Nursing Diagnosis Cards. They saved me hours on my care plans. You just read the index of illnesses and pick a matching card, then for each goal it lists an intervention and a rational. I was miles ahead of those students that typed there careplans and saved them. No need to spent time "customizing" just pick realistic goals and match the numbers!
I also found that Med/surg made incredibly easy was a lifesaver!
I did NOT like Pharm Made Incredibly Easy because it did not give pt education. I also found Pathophysiology MIE was a waste of money.
What helped you?
Thanks in advance!
