I received a flyer from Boca Raton Regional Hospital for their new neuroICU and I am curious. How are nurses treated, what is the nurse/MD relationships like, what is the pay scale? Just tell me everything you know. I am thinking that the neuroscience program is in the growing stages, am I right?
Thank you for any insight, thoughts.

I am not really sure about their salary, but I worked there seasonal and got paid way more than any other hospital in Florida. The new neuro unit is very nice, brand new, single rooms. It is definately in it's growing stages as the unit just opened up, the charge nurses on that floor are very nice and helpful, I would say that the doctors that I've seen so far seem a little bit more friendlier than on the other floors. If you like Neuro than I would say that you should definately give it a chance because the unit is nice and new, which means they are not stuck in their ways, it's a beautiful unit, I liked the patient population on that unit, coworker were nice and friendly, they also pay well and offer a generous sign on bonus.

Don't know anything about the unit. The Boca area is nice and one of our best unit nurses is leaving soon to go work there. Good Luck!

boca hospital is all about customer service with lots of ass kissing. the doctors are not friendly. the floor i worked at, the nurses were bullies and management has their own little crew on who they want to help, no team work at all. i hope your experience is better than mine.
