Holy buckets, finally got my ATT and took the first test opening I could find. I'm freaking out! I'm horrible with lab values and meds and I'm so nervous my whole test will be about it and I'll fail!
Has anybody else taken their boards on a Saturday? Wondering if I'll get my quick results on Monday or Tuesday. However, I'm in MN and from what I've seen the board here moves pretty quickly, so maybe I can just skip the quick results?

Instead of worrying about whether or not labs/meds will show-up on your test, you should concentrate on KNOWING them - particularly labs. Which labs are you having trouble committing to memory?
For medications, organize them into groups and look for unique side effects (-pril = ACE Inhibitors --> risk for hypotension, angioedema, dry cough, hyperkalemia), then work from there & try to learn more about popular, specific drugs.
Good luck! I'll be taking mine around that day too :)

Just be sure to study across the board. Labs are something you can study everyday. Perhaps, at the end of your studying for the day, just review them everyday. I used Kaplan for strategy and Saunders for content. I just set a goal of 150 questions a day (anymore and you could risk not retaining much info) and remediated every questions whether it was right or wrong. Good luck! :)
