Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi , Creating this thread for anyone applying for Spring 2021 at BMCC . I didn’t get in last round so will plan to sit the HESI in December hopefully . Not sure what my PCI is but I got A’s in everything except AP1 which I got a B in . Please share tips or info so we can help each other . I’m in my 40’s and I’ve young kids so this is definitely a career change for me !

I sent a facebook invite, hope you guys can accept me too ?

Hello everyone, I just finished my last GPA PCI class. I finished with a GPA of 3.82. I’m taking the HESI exam in may. If I do well on the HESI exam do you think this GPA will give me a good chance at making it into the program.

thank you

3.8 is good, but don't relax now, the higher your HESI the higher the chance you get in.  You are competing for 54 slots for morning and only 27 slots for evening.

Great thank you, yea I know I’m definitely going to study very hard for the HESI but just wasn’t sure where I stood with a 3.82 GPA. Wow only 27 slots for the evening program. I didn’t know that. I work at my. Sinai during the day so I want to try and get into the evening program. Any idea how they come up with who gets into the day and who gets into the evening program? @Pk123

Sounds hard! Has anyone here taken the HESI already?

When you apply you have to specify which program you’re applying to (day or evening). You can’t apply for both at the same time

I am so curious as well! Since a lot of us have similar GPA I’m guessing our HESI score might be also very similar. By they way would you like to join our study group for the HESI? My GPA IS 4.0 you can text me at (646) 493-5090

Oh OK thank you and we apply after we take the HESI exam or before? Because I’m in the process now of signing up for the HESI exam

They let you choose which one you want to apply when you submit your application. You can only choose 1.

Submit the checklist first,

Wait for email of application then they send u the appplication, and then pay for your HESI. The school will give you the HESI  don't take it anywhere else.
