BMCC Nursing... ASN or transfer??

  1. Get ASN and do RN-BSN bridge program or transfer to 4-yr and go straight for the BSN?

I just finished my second semester at CUNY's borough of manhattan community college and im off to a great start, solid 4.0 GPA. Let's say I keep this up for the rest of the coming semesters and get into the nursing program at my school. Should i #1.. go for the program offered here OR #2 just get all the pre-reqs and general education requirements out of the way and transfer to somewhere else? Should i just go for the ASN and do a RN to BSN bridge program afterwards or just transfer after i have sufficient credits and go straight for the BSN? If so, what good CUNY or SUNY colleges should I apply to for transfer?

Any other information and advice on nursing programs within NYC would be great!

Thank you!!!
