Bmcc nursing acceptance spring 2015

Published

Hey Guys, I'm happy to say that after much anticipation, I was notified today that I've been accepted into the program. yay!!! Anyone else also notified today?

Hey man. Congrats on your entry! I took the HESI on 5/26, and I'm going nuts waiting to hear something. How long did you have to wait to get the call?

thanks,

jim

I remember I waited almost a month before they called. I took mine 12/2, and I waited till after Christmas, I think it was 12/29 I finally got the call.

Ugh! Thanks

No problem. I am sure you got in. Which session did you register for? I am in the evening class. See you around. Good luck.

Hi: I'm currently awaiting (NERVOUSLY!) word of acceptance. I took the exam on 5/26, and passed it with an 86 overall. My gpa is 4.0 as well, but I'm so anxious because of the low HESI grade. What was yours, and do you agree I should be a bit apprehensive?

Thank you so much,

jim

I still think you are fine. I am in the evening program which is a little less competitive. I passed with 86% as well, and my GPA was 3.9.

I felt the same. It was nerve-wrecking walking in to the HESI exam with like hundreds of people while the Nursing program only accepts like 80 people.

Thank you so much for the support.

No problem. One piece of advice though: once you get the acceptance call from the Nursing department, go pick up your acceptance packet, get the book and start reading as soon as you can. You want to finish those assigned chapters before the semester begins, because playing catch up is not fun, and it's almost impossible. Other than that, enjoy the summer vacation as much as you can before you get that phone call.

í ½í¸Ž made it.

Another question: my plan had been taken take micro with 112, but I'm now thinking I'd rather take micro next summer. Any thoughts?
