Who is applying for BMCC Fall 2019?

When are you taking the test?

What’s considered passing? :( Do you need to pass specific parts?

I think, pass is 65% overall test

Hi all, I took my test for the second time the 28th, I got 71 with 3.7 gpa for the evening program. I got 65 the first time with 3.9 gpa, for the day program. I am hoping to get in this time, good luck guys.

I took it on Dec. 5th 2018 and received the no entry email on the 17th, so I am finger crossing this time.

Wow! How big is this test when deliberating on who gets in or not? Your guys' GPA are very high that I'm shocked some had to retake.

Hi Noelia! I just want to let you know that you’re not alone. The first time I took the test I got a 66 with a 3.8 GPA. I didn’t get the call. I retook the exam and I got a 70. I still didn’t get in. This is my third time around applying to BMCC nursing program. I’m using the last score that I got and see where my luck takes me. I’m applying for the day program and I’m really hoping I get in!!! If I don’t, I do have a back up plan and that’s going to Lehman College and applying to their program for next year. I do wish you luck and hope that you get a call!

The advisor told me that is harder to get into the day program, but evening is easier, because fewer people apply for that one so I just praying to get in. If not my major is science for health professional and I just need one semester to graduate.

I was pretty upset when I was taking the science portion and it had endocrine stuff. I asked what was gonna be on the science portion and was told that it was going to be whatever was listed on that document. No endocrine on that document and like maddd endocrine on the exam.

You could also get your bachelors in Biology and then apply to an accelerated program. I hear that way is almost always guarantee into those programs

I forgot a lot that was on the test but I did very well on math and science. It was English that brought my score so low

And I felt that there were mostly questions on Physiology (A&P-2), which I have yet to take this semester. I know my A&P-1 by heart (our professor did all his tests “fill ins”, none was multiple choice), so I was upset that there were not enough questions from A&P-1. Science brought my scores down, otherwise I would be in the 90-ies scorewise.
