BMCC Evening/Weekend Program?

Published

Hi everyone. So I applied to BMCC and was accepted . I have to take one other test because I had applied to Bronx Community College for the LPN in 2006 but never went. I am going to the school next week to get all my registration done.. I was told that there are a bunch of Pre Reqs I have to do first. I guess what I wanted to know is how long does it take to complete the pre reqs on an evening schedule. And once i do, how long until I actually start Nursing School itself?

It's so easy to feel like your the only one going through this...it's so inspiring to hear of others in similar situations and making it work. I have to take the math placement test (exempt from reading) I thought about algebra/trig in years! Did you take it? What did you use to study?

I took them 5 years ago at Hostos CC and at the time they had a class that helped me prepare for them. I suggest you get a GED, ACT, or SAT math book. Those will definitely help. Also you might find the information below helpful.
