I bought an automatic Life Source brand from MacGill along with a pediatric cuff. Once I received it I realized the "exhaust velocity" has to be adjusted on the unit when you change the size of the cuff. Well that wasn't going to work for me so I kept the automatic with the adult size cuff and bought a manual pediatric sphygmo. I find that the manual is a lot more accurate for those little skinny elementary arms anyway. I guess the ones like we use at the hospital that cost about a zillion dollars can adjust the "exhaust velocity" automatically when you change cuff sizes.
I also have an extra large manual one for the "big" staffers and morbidly obese elementary schoolers.

Any suggestions or preferences on blood pressure cuff brands? I am trying to find a multi cuff set that will work on all different sized kids, but need to be reasonable about how much I spend. Some of the brands I'm looking at on Amazon are ADC (American Diagnostics), Line2Design, and LotFancy.
Of course I'd love to get WelchAllyn, but they are all just too pricey.
