Blinn Nursing Acceptance

Published

I am so sorry if I am posting in the wrong area. I am still new to allnurses. I recently submitted my application for the Blinn nursing program in Bryan, Tx (March 3rd deadline) and I haven't been able to get an answer as to when I will know if I'm accepted or not. I'm just curious if any nursing students from Blinn or any nursing school for that fact can give me a clue. I'm anxious and have been checking my email waaaaay to much. 8)

Thanks!

Thanks Sailornurse...I think I was in a hurry when I signed up.

I see you are from New Mexico...my uncles live in the small town of Aragon, NM. It is very beautiful out there!

Hi! I'm also applied for the Fall 2016 program. waiting waiting waiting, I'm so nervous!!! I received an email today that stated my nursing application was complete and processed, and that I may or may not receive a provisional acceptance letter in late march or early April, as well as instructions for being fingerprinted. I tried so hard to read through lines, but unfortunately there's no clues about acceptance, lol... just lots of wishful thinking!!! Have you received anything yet? Good luck!

Hi! I received an email about a week or two back saying the same thing. I think when I posted the question above I hadn't received the email yet. Now I'm just waiting and hoping I hear something at the end of this month or early April. It's just really hard to be patient lol. Did you apply to Blinn's program?

Yes, in Bryan! I have an old coworker that received her provisional letter on April 7 last year, so we don't have much longer for the rally acceptance round, I think ! I'm trying to be hopeful and positive, and while I'm happy- ish with my gpa/teas/progress, I'm still really worried about how competitive the program is. I keep hearing there's always a high number of applicants :/ are you finished with all of your coreqs? I'm working on micro for my last prereq., and apII for my last coreq.

Hey, I'm sorry I didn't write back a bit quicker. I think I saw you post and then..well...life happened. 8P

I am done with my prereqs/coreqs and I also took Pathophysiology last semester to get that extra point. Had titers done and recently got my MMR shot and now I need to find a place to get my flu shot done. Working on getting my BLS CPR cert. taken care of too. Still eagerly waiting on that email that will tell me yes or no. Its very nerve racking! Have you heard anything yet?

If I don't get in I'll just try again.
