  1. Thanks I will do that. Hopefully they'll get back to me fast. I know they have their hands full. And it would suck if I didn't get in after having paid $40 on the background check. My husband is the only one bringing in income at the moment so its hard on us even to spend that much.
  2. Hahaha maybe I didn't put that right! I know some people will say it means nothing...that they just sent me to go get it as part of the process.
  3. I have yet to receive a provisional email as to whether I am accepted or not for the fall semester but I received an email from the nursing program I applied with to go and get a fingerprinted/background check. I know this means nothing as to whether I am in or out but is it a good sign that they wanted me to go ahead with this step? Just curious. The last final for school is this Thursday...I am done with everything so I didn't have to take any classes this semester but the first email I received from the nursing program said if we didn't receive a provisional email in April/March we would receive our final answer in May. I'm just going a bit nuts waiting.
  4. Hey, I'm sorry I didn't write back a bit quicker. I think I saw you post and then..well...life happened. 8P I am done with my prereqs/coreqs and I also took Pathophysiology last semester to get that extra point. Had titers done and recently got my MMR shot and now I need to find a place to get my flu shot done. Working on getting my BLS CPR cert. taken care of too. Still eagerly waiting on that email that will tell me yes or no. Its very nerve racking! Have you heard anything yet? If I don't get in I'll just try again.
  5. I feel silly for asking but what do you mean by lottery based?
  6. Hi! I received an email about a week or two back saying the same thing. I think when I posted the question above I hadn't received the email yet. Now I'm just waiting and hoping I hear something at the end of this month or early April. It's just really hard to be patient lol. Did you apply to Blinn's program?
  7. Thanks Sailornurse...I think I was in a hurry when I signed up. I see you are from New Mexico...my uncles live in the small town of Aragon, NM. It is very beautiful out there!
  8. I am so sorry if I am posting in the wrong area. I am still new to allnurses. I recently submitted my application for the Blinn nursing program in Bryan, Tx (March 3rd deadline) and I haven't been able to get an answer as to when I will know if I'm accepted or not. I'm just curious if any nursing students from Blinn or any nursing school for that fact can give me a clue. I'm anxious and have been checking my email waaaaay to much. 8) Thanks!
