Blinn Fall 2015 Admissions

Published

Hey everyone! I'm currently a student at Blinn College in Bryan and I am applying to the nursing program and hope to start in the fall. I was wondering what kind of GPA and TEAS score would keep my competitive. I will have all of my pre and co requisites done, my GPA worst case scenario will be about a 3.35, and I made an 80 on the TEAS. My dream is to go to nursing school and I will do anything to better myself to get into the program at Blinn College.

Do you know how many people usually apply into the program and how many actually get in?

Thanks

No idea I just know they show favoritism they pick who they want most times which is why they don't have that info available

As a recent graduate from the generic ADN program I did not see any favoritism when it came to selecting people for the program. I do know that the program uses a point system (based on GPA, if you completed all required classes, TEAS score, and essay score). I was in constant contact with the adm assistant that handles all the paperwork for the program.

Every one is entitled to their own opinion no essay was used in my admission period I was in constant contact with her as well.

Anyone else super excited to start? I have no idea what to expect!

Maybe someone should start a Facebook page for our cohort. We could help each other out and form study groups and stuff if we have contact with everyone.
