Binghamton BAT Program 2022-2023

Published

Hi! I wanted to create this for all of us applying to Bing's program that starts this Summer. I applied last week with a 3.57 cumulative GPA, a 3.1 Pre req GPA and about 350 hours of clinical work. I am also applying to Stony Brook and have been accepted to UMFK. Let's support each other.

Hi! I'm pretty sure based on the Decker site and past year's threads that the big majority of decisions go out in mid-Jan to mid-Feb, so I wouldn't stress it!

Thank you for your kind words.

Hi everyone! I am also another current BAT student so if you have any questions I am happy to help!! I believe that Binghamton has sent out two rounds of acceptances (based off what I have heard from my friends applying to the program/people who have gotten in) and their accepted students day is the beginning of Febuary! Don't quote me but I believe a couple weeks before accepted students day applicants should receive a message if they are placed on the waitlist or not (thats what happened to my friends during last cycle).

Hi!! Is there any way I can message you privately? I literally have so many questions and I have been trying to find someone that's in the program. I would so appreciate it!!

Does anyone know the total cost of tuition for the 12 months? Is it around $14,000? Thank you!

Hey! Do you have experience with friends who got waitlisted and then accepted or denied? I got waitlisted so I'm just trying to get a better idea of what that means.

Hi everyone,

I am a current BAT student graduating in May. Please do not let these threads stress you out. If you have any questions about the program, I am here to help!

Hey! Do you guys know how many people apply vs how many get accepted?

I am not sure how many applied, but I am in the program now and I think we started off with around 80 BAT students.

I think the deposit is due by April 1st. Does anyone know how many students actually enroll in the program each year?

Hello all! I recently got accepted into Binghamton’s accelerated program. Does anyone know the cost for the whole year? I’m from Long Island ?

The tuition & fees alone for me probably came out to around 20k (roughly) for the year.

I was waitlisted last year in January and I received a call offering me a spot the first week of May. So for those of you on the waitlist, do not lose hope!

Actually I want to correct myself after looking back. I think it was closer to around 17k.

Hi this is super super late, I'm so sorry but I had friends who got off the waitlist at a variety of times... one friend got off the waitlist in March and a couple friends got off the waitlist in the middle of April. I am honestly not sure when people who were put on the waitlist would be notified that they have officially been denied... I want to say they would let you know end of May or once they have filled the quota of students for the cohort.
