Binghamton BAT Program 2022-2023

Hi! I wanted to create this for all of us applying to Bing's program that starts this Summer. I applied last week with a 3.57 cumulative GPA, a 3.1 Pre req GPA and about 350 hours of clinical work. I am also applying to Stony Brook and have been accepted to UMFK. Let's support each other.

Just uploaded my resume via the status checker. 3.85 overall, 3.81 pre-req, graduating in December from Binghamton's neuro program. Good luck to everyone applying!

Hey! I completed my application in early October. I have already been accepted to Duquesne ABSN as of right now but Bing and Stony Brook are my top because I am from NY. Good luck everyone!

Hey! Do you guys know how many people apply vs how many get accepted?

I don't have any numbers, but Decker has a reputation for being more selective than BU in general, so... 25-35%, maybe?

hey everyone, I am currently in the BAT program right now and I know how stressful it can be waiting to hear back! If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will help as best I can! ?

Thank you! If you don't mind, what were your stats and when were you notified of the decision?

Also, how are you finding the program?

Also! How many people typically apply and how many get accepted?

My overall GPA was a 3.85, pre-req was a 3.75. I found out January 12th!  The program is hardwork, especially the fall semester, but I have found it manageble for sure.

Did you have a lot of experience before starting??? I know they consider that in their application decision. I’ve only volunteered in a hospital. Do you have classmates who didn’t have any/ much experience?

I had EMT experience before I started but some of my classmates had nothing at all! I would say a lot have some sort of healthcare experience but it is definitely not required. Also, I was a Binghamton graduate so I am not sure if that had any impact on my acceptance.
