I'm just wondering what the biggest newborn baby is that you have seen?
Today I had a 12.5 pound term kiddo born vag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mom was not diabetic.
We had to go get bp cuffs from peds because we only go up to a size 4 and this kid needs a size 5-6! Size 3 diapers as well.:eek:

I had a 12lb baby a few weeks ago, born vag, which is what landed him in the NICU.

13lbs, 8oz! Giant omphalocele is what landed him in the NICU (so he was a csection). However, poor kiddo, it was easy to forget he was just a day or two old being as big as he was, it was so hard to hold him up to burp him or feed him having to support so much of his weight! (compared to other 13lb NICU babies who are usually months old and holding their own heads up and whatnot)

13+8 as well here, vag delivery and not in the NICU.
Those big ones are an armful!

We had a thirteen-plus pounder at one place I worked. Went to NICU for a little hypoglycemia, but luckily no CHD or anything serious.
Mom would call and instead of saying her name, she'd say, "I'm the mom of the baby that weighs thirteen pounds."
