hello! can anyone tell me if i still need to pass the CGFNS before i can initially apply for RN licensure in washington DC? i've heard from my friends that some states in the US doesn't require a certification from CGFNS before taking the NCLEX exam. i just thought that washington DC maybe among those states but i'm not quite sure. i'm also having a hard time finding the exact requirements by washington DC BON for initial licensure for an RN. where can i find those? i've already checked the state's website but i came to find the forms (in pdf) only.
help.... me....

Washington DC is not a state, it is the District of Columbia where the White House and other official offices are. Very different from the state of Washington that is on the West Coast by Canada.
I suspect that you were looking at Washington State website by what you are describing. That is not what you want.
