I was planning on taking my pre reqs slow and steady and applying in October '14 for the Spring 2015 BSN program.
BUT
Spring '15 just seems so far away!!! I could cram and try to get in for Fall '14, but is it really that much of a difference?
Personally, I'd do English I & II in the summer and take A&P when you have a full semester to devote to it. I took Physiology and Microbiology at the same time. It's definitely do-able (got an A in both). I wouldn't want to cram that much A&P into such a short amount of time. You'll need the Physiology to understand Pharmacology, trust me!

I don't know why I'm so afraid to take both A&P 2 and Micro at the same time but I am!!
What scares you about this? Is it the amount of studying? Or the material itself? Don't be afraid of Micro. It was actually one of my favorite classes, especially lab! It's not as daunting as you think. And there are wonderful resources online to help with the more complicated concepts.
I highly recommend Dr. Leslie Samuels' videos. You can find them on YouTube (just search his name or Interactive Biology). Also, Khan Academy (free) has terrific video tutorials. Both Dr. Samuels & Khan Academy have videos for Micro and A&P. They really help give you ways to remember what you've learned.
Focus on your goal (getting a good GPA) and stay organized with your studies. That's the key to getting an A. If you're going to do A&P II & Micro in the same semester, I highly recommend getting a planner. Take your syllabus for each class and enter all your exam dates into the planner and highlight them in green. Then enter all your quiz dates and highlight in blue. Then add in all your homework and highlight in pink. In the gaps in between, enter in study time (I used yellow for study time). That way, you've got an easy way to see at a glance what you've got coming up for the week and how much time you have to devote to studying in between your homework, quizzes and exams. You will always be on top of your studies and prepared for class.
Last semester, I took 6 classes (17 credits) and I was still able to get a 4.0 in each class by staying organized. I had Physiology (A&P II), Microbiology, Microbiology Lab, Pharmacology, Human Growth/Development and Into to Health Professions. It was a LOT of work, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Only you know what you're comfortable doing. Do what you feel you can handle.

and I wouldn't take that semester off, I'd fill it up with some other elective courses so when I start the nursing program I only have nursing classes to focus on.
