Bevill - Still Waiting

I'm getting so impatient, lol. So I called this morning and asked when we might receive our letters. They replied they haven't even met yet! Ugh!!!

I've got to find something to get my mind off of this

No except for the obvious, about there being fewer spots than people that applied. But honestly I thought I had pretty good chances. I have a little above a 3.0 and I'm finished with everything. My anatomys and micro were all B's and my math 112 was also a B. My friend got accepted last yr and had only completed her anatomys with B's. I guess since I only made a 73.3 on the TEAS. I'm not really sure

So sorry Laken:crying2:! I understand how you feel I have been turned down sooooo many times. (NOT AT BEVILL) but at other schools. I hope and pray i get in but if i dont i have a plan B this time! Just keep trying or think of a plan B! I will keep you posted when i get my letter!

Well I guess I won't get in either!!! My grades are about the same. Which campus did you apply to?

My grades are about the same and i didnt do to well on teas either, but im still hoping for the best! Its in god's hands!

I put every campus on my application except for Hamilton. And I have been thinking about my plan B all day, if I don't get accepted at the other school I applied at!

Have you taken Eng 1, Eng 2, Psychology, and Sociology already too?

Yes I actually have more classes. I have everything done for the associates degree. But I also have an aditional 22 hrs bc I'm trying to finish all the required courses so I can get my bachelors online in a yr after I complete the associates!

Good greif!!! I guess they must've really cut back on how many students they accepted this year

I know bc bevill has always accepted more people than other schools I have heard of. I figured I would be okay bc I knew people who got in with tge same grades or lower grades and even people that hadn't finished all the pre-reqs. But maybe they did things differently this year bc I think their board rates have went down.

My friend got accepted but not at the campus she wanted. She's not sure wether to be excited or upset. It'll mean a long drive for class and clinicals.

I am so sorry that you did not get in. I haven't received a letter yet, but my friend who lives 10 mins away got hers yesterday and she was accepted to the sumiton campus. Her gpa is only 2.6 and she made a 76 on the teas test. She has an A in A&P 1 but that doesn't even count as far as gpa because it was in progress when she applied. So basically she still has to take A&P 2 and micro and was still accepted.

I applied to Bevill, selecting the Fayette campus as my 1st choice, Jasper 2nd, Sumiton 3rd, and Hamilton 4th. I got my letter yesterday, and did not get in. I applied with a 3.9 GPA, 82 on Teas test, A in micro, A in HG&D, A in English Comp I, A in 3 diff maths (college algebra, pre cal, and cal I), A in psychology, and A in my humanity elective. I was currently taking A&P I in the the spring and got an A in it; however, I know that it didn't count towards applications since I was not finished. I am now taking A&P II this summer. I am confused as to how your friend got in and I did not (although I am very excited for her)?? I also applied to Jeff State and Shelton and since their applications were due later, my A&P I will grade will be figured in. But I was really hoping to go to Bevill Fayette
