Anyone out there work at one of these nursing homes? I had an interview today at one in Stillwater for an LPN position. Just wondering if it is a good company to work for, how the benefits and pay are, etc.

Thanks,

Hi Jenna,

I don't know about Linden but I worked at Greeley 5 1/2 yrs ago as a CNA (before I got my LPN) and hated every minute of it! I cried all the way to work and back home again. (I realized after I started there why I was hired on the spot when I walked in to get an application, no backround check, no reference check not a work history check.) The staff was rude, lazy and complained consently. They were ALWAYS short staffed and managment didn't seem to care that they were. I worked over nites and our rounds took 2 1/2 hours because pm's put to residents to bed starting at 7 and didn't do any bed checks or toileting after that, our 1st round was at midnight, needless to say the poor people were ready to float right out of their beds. I only stayed 3 months that was long enough. (my previous job I was at for 10 years and the job that followed I was at for 5yrs, so I'm not a job hopper)

I will have to say they did pay well and the benny's were pretty good. But that didn't out weigh the bad. Hopefully they have changed, I have heard that beverly has cleaned up their act.
