Hi Ladies and Gent,
I checked out a Saunders Nclex RN review book from library. I start RN program, Winter 2017. I saw a suggestion to do this to get familiar with NCLEX testing style. However, I find some of the questions extremely challenging simply because I don't know the information I think.
Is there any suggestions on how I should study this book or should I just read and do the best I can right now. As I start the program it will become easier. Is that the rationale of checking out this book is just to become familiar with the testing format and not so much how much I know right now.
Thank you for any feedback and suggestions how I can best use this book.

I'm far from the wisest here, but I used the Illustrated Guide to the Nclex to study before I had any nursing classes, and it was so beneficial. I impressed my instructors when I got to Physical Assessment and Fundamentals. But I used it to brush up on A&P more not really for the nclex question style. I have Saunders too and think it's more for doing with nursing classes instead of before. A really easy nclex book for familiarizing yourself with the questions is the Incredibly Easy series, you can find a used one for like $5. The questions are mostly what you'd have learned from A&P, like it really isn't challenging for a nursing student but prenursing it's good.
So I should purchase an Incredibly Easy series for Nclex review? I think that is wise because I need review of A&P. I will look on Amazon for one.

Do at least 50 nclex questions a day or every other day. And test as soon as possible after graduation. I graduated in May and am testing in January and I am regretting not testing sooner.
Thank you for the advice. Should I study the regular nclex review book for this.
I had a few nclex books and also sometimes I would just google nclex questions and so some online. It will get you used to the format of nclex questions. The nclex mastery app is a good investment. Only $30 and it has a ton of questions.
