Hello,
I am planning on taking my test soon by the end of June/beginning of July. I have taken my test twice :eek:and still havent passed, I can say that I didnt really study or dedicate myself as I should have, only prepared within four weeks the last time and still had to make time to work 15-20hrs/wk. Now Im only working weekends to make sure I have enough time to study, with 5-7hrs per day..I graduated in Sept 2009 and need to stop procrascinating. Each time I took my test and failed, I got really deppressed but now I am determined to pass. :) I am using the Saunders Book 4th edition for Nclex Pn and CD and was wondering if theres anything else that you may reccommend.? My uncle just recently graduated and is telling me the ATI testing program online, bc it is said that many have passed with it, but I havent heard of anyone. Has anyone heard about it? Please let me know, bc if it helps I am determined to buy it even if its a little pricey. Any suggestions on that or what should I use to help with my studies for Nclex review???
Also, how would be the best way to study for pharmacology, since the meds Q's I always got in the Nclex were some that I had never heard of ? Anyone know how to study your meds and making it easy to remember S&S?
Thank you very much for your help:heartbeat

I used Saunders for LPNS. I also do RN NCLEX questions as well. Just do 50-100 questions/ day. I passed first try doing this. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Thank you very both hana90 and NurseLoveJoy88 for your help, I will definitely keep that into consideration..Hope all works out! God bless =)

Most people are successful by doing as many questions as possible and studying the rationales. Sounds like you know that you have to put a good effort into this project. Good luck.
I do have to put in my best effort, bc it will be my third time taking it and I also want it to be my last.. It will be one of my best accomplishments yet. So sad to say it took me this long to take it into consideration and actually give it my everything! thank you very much for all your help.. it means the world to me!! :)

Hi there, I just recently took nclex and passed on the first try. I took hurst live review and did 100 questions a day using kaplan and exam cram. Exam cram questions are very similar to nclex questions. If you lacking content, then hurst is the best!! I was very weak in med/surg and when I took hurst review, I understood a lot more. They also teach you little tricks to remember things. I love it. Good luck!
