What worked for me was not actually "studying" anything. You know the material! My school forced us into buying ("included" in tuition) and using ATI but I found that to be a waste of time, and stopped using it after graduation. I used the UWorld free trial for the 6 days leading up to the boards, passed 1st try with 75 questions. Even when I got the answers wrong on UWorld, their rationales were a great help. Also, sounds silly, but my boyfriend's dad told me about the 4-7-8 breathing technique (look it up!)- which I used about every five minutes during the exam. Good luck!
I think you have to look at your weakness and strong suits. Find a review that fits into your needs.
I personally felt content weak so took the Hurst review the summer before I graduated and again after graduation but about 3 weeks before boards. I studied their material and would answer UWORLD questions on each content area. I spent about 4 weeks post graduation doing UWORLD questions/Hurst during my work day. I would say a solid 3-4 hours a day intermittently throughout the day. Did about 2,000 questions a month before my test and passed with 75 questions in about an hour.
I do suggest putting in the time to do a ton of questions and you should do fine! :) Good luck in you final semester and boards.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had some advice on a good study routine for the NCLEX. I am a fourth semester student and I'm set to graduate May 2016. I am a little worried about study time for NCLEX because we have precepting for 5 weeks, maternal child for 5 weeks, and critical care/endocrine for 5 weeks and I'm already feeling overwhelmed. Any advice on what works the best?
Thanks!
