I've just been accepted into nursing school, and I've been reading a lot about stethoscopes... we'll be using them in classes and at the hospital, so I was wondering which one you would recommend. I am on a budget, but I've heard pretty good things about these:
Prestige Medical Clinical I Stethoscope
ADC ADSCOPE 603 Stainless Steel Stethoscope
Littmann Classic II SE Stethoscope
what do you think?

Of that list, I only have experience with the Littmann Classic II Se and it's a good scope. If money is really tight, the cheaper Littmanns (the Select and Lightweight II SE) are not bad buys either--I went through nursing school with the Select (until my cat chewed it up) and it worked fine.

i have a littmann select and a master classic 2 and my select is just as good. i do hear extraneous noises thou probably due to the fact the tubing may be thinner than the MC 2

don't spend more than $15, trust me.
I am finishing up my first semester of clinical, and you only really use your stethoscope for very basic psychomotor skills (blood pressure, basic breath sounds and apical pulse). I think it's a better idea to get a super cheap one (mine was $8 at the school store) and use it for a semester before you get into the more advanced stuff - then you'll know what features to look for based on your preferences.
I guarantee that if you buy a pricey one now, you'll only end up buying a different one down the road.
