Best Site for NRP Certification

Hi everyone,

I am trying very hard to land a job in the labor and delivery unit. I only have 2 hospitals within my area unless I plan to travel out about an hour. I interviewed for one locally (still haven't heard back going on 4 weeks) and I don't feel too good about it. I was sick with mastitis but did not want to cancel since the week before I showed up for the interview and waited and they had me reschedule due to getting busy. I am very bummed and wish I would've postponed. Anyway, I have zero experience in this field even though I've always wanted to do it but I have 3 kids so I had to take the jobs I was offered right out of college.

I joined AWOHNN and now I am looking into taking the NRP certification course to at least show how I am very dedicated to this field. Any advice on where I can take this course?

You cannot take it online, if that's what you're asking. You need to go to the AAP's website and then you can search for a local class provider.
