I start nursing school soon and while I do not need shoes for clinical right away I want to make sure I have the money when I need them (I hear they can be spendy), but there are so many shoes out there!
Do any of you have a preference on brand? I have wide feet and need really good arch support. I usually put inserts into my tennis shoes but it would be great if I didn't need to do that for clinical shoes.
Any tips or brand recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Splurge on some Alegrias. They'll last forever. They have a few different 'all white' styles. Insoles are replaceable ($20). Fantastic arch support.
Disclosure.... I receive absolutely no personal benefit from endorsing them - I've just been a devoted customer for many years.
Good shoes are totally worth the money. The replaceable insole seems like a nice feature. I will definitely try some on. Lucky for me I live near a huge shoe store that stocks them (per the brand's website). Thanks for the suggestion!

I second the Alegrias. You really can not put a price tag on good shoes. Plus, you can wear them long after NS.
I purchased my first pair a few months ago, and wore them around my house to get used to them. For me it was different because they have a little "heel".
I also have very wide feet that swell all of the time. Totally worth the money.
