Best Scrubs...

Hey,

I am 5'6 and 115lbs. and I have yet to find scrubs that fit my body. they are either to short in the legs or to wide in the waist. and the tops are always to wide if the length works. I have a long torso if that helps. any suggestions are greatly appreciated ((:

Have you tried Greys anatomy? Is there any scrubs store around you where you can go in and try on a bunch of different brands? What about wearing a tank underneath to provide the elongation of the top that you're seeking?

I wear grays anatomy tops, they are still wide in the waist, and urbane in pants. I've tried Cherokee, dickies, urbane, grays, and several others. I haven't tried kio or wonder wink yet since they never have them in my size at any stores around here. I do wear under shirts daily but I am always afraid of looking tacky if it's longer then the scrub top :/

Some brands come in petite, regular, and long lengths. Sounds like you need the "long" of a smaller size. If stores dont carry them, they usually at least special order the long length ones. I have a similar problem with the long torso so I need larger tops for the length, but then I look frumpy because they are too wide. Im sure other brands do this too, but I have found that Urbane makes a "long length" version of a few of their popular style tops. They are great! Just a little pricier than others.

I also have a wonderwink set that is a longer length then some others, so if they get those in then def try them. And another lady in the store with me the other day had larger breasts but a small waist and was sold on the grays anatomy signature tops because she said they fit slimmer in the waist then other brands do. So maybe try that style for top.

I have a pair of Koi pants that I really like, I am about 5'6 and about 130-135. For scrub tops I have always had issues finding ones that fit well, I have a long torso myself and upper body is slim but have hips. Currently at work we wear a polo shirt, so it has been a while since I had to find scrub tops. The ones that seemed to fit best that was not overly baggy was the Cherokee tops, although the tend to be shorter than the other tops which limited how much I could carry in the pockets.

Koi has different lengths. I wear the Lindsey in petite sizes. Our school had us use Landau tops and bottoms for clinical last semester and they were the worst. The tops made me look like a box. I'm short and I have curves. I'm not fat, just curvy and I need scrubs for a woman. I actually look best in the Koi wrap tops but they don't have them in khaki so I ended up with the Cherokee premium tops and Koi bottoms. I also like the Koi bottoms for the pockets on the leg. If you have a scrubs and beyond around you just go in and grab a bunch and try them on. That is what I had to do.
