Best place to buy a stethoscope?

I'm looking into a Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can buy one for the best price?I have looked online and I'm just reluctant to buy without hearing from other nurses which sites are legit. Thanks!

Allheart.com is a great site. They have a bunch of different nursing items for sale and pretty good shipping times. It is where I bought all my stuff for nursing school. If you sign up for their newsletter, hey have tons of sales throughout the year and you can get some pretty good deals. They also offer engraving on stethoscopes for a small fee.

Medisave.net is where I bought both of my Littmann stethoscopes. Sometimes they have free engraving. They have a 5% code out there but if you wait till Black Friday, you may be able to get a deal for about 15% off. Fast shipping too.

With Allheart, I've had bad experiences with fulfilling and shipping. It takes them forever to ship and sometimes they list out of stock stuff as being in stock. I ordered scrubs and a stethoscope watch from them.

I also used medisave. They are an authorized 3M retailer. Tey shipped fast, but my main draw was the free engraving. They offer a 5% discount for liking their Facebook page all the time. However, right now they're running a promotion for 10% off when you like their page!

Thanks very much, everyone! I plan on getting the same stethoscope too, and it's very reassuring to know the site you guys had a good experience with. I would choose Allheart before, but filed Medisave now for future.

green34, thanks for the terrific tip to wait until Black Friday. :yeah: I won't start Nursing school until Fall 2014 at the earliest, so I have the time to wait for a deal. I saw that right now Medisave offers a Back to School discount of 10% off any Littmann stethoscope until Sept 30th. Looks like a great one stop shop for nursing gear. :inlove:

For my graduation present my hubby ordered my stethoscope from Redding Medical. He was able to order it with both the tubing and the head of the stethoscope engraved and they allowed a few extra characters than allheart.com, where he was originally going to order it from.
