Hi - I know similar questions have been asked and answered before, but I am looking for the best nursing shoes. I begin clinicals this fall. I also have a back injury that makes it painful to stand for long periods of time (yes, I get that nursing is going to be rough).
Anyways, I was hoping for some suggestions on supportive, comfortable shoes. I tried on Klogs slip ons, and did not like them. I also tried on Nursemates slip ons and had a problem with sizing (10 was too small, 11 were too big w/ no half sizes). I am usually a women's size 11.
The shoes need to be closed back, non-marking, non-skid, white shoes.
I've been looking into these, which I know aren't marketed nursing shoes, but seem like they could work:
Womens ASICS GEL-Foundation Workplace Walking Shoe at Road Runner Sports
In the past (my LNA course), I wore Nike sneakers.
Thanks in advance!

When I injured my back, the physical therapist recommended Dansko professionals. They were wonderful for my back! The Aciscs I had were just too soft.
