I was given so much advice about what to study, how to answer questions, topics to know down pat etc etc....
But the best tip I was given: When answering questions think about what keeps the patient safe and alive!
There were many questions on my exam that I really scratched my head at, but even if I did not know the exact disease process/assessment needed typically I could decipher what answers would keep the patient safe and/or alive.
75 questions and a good pop up... I'll have my official results soon.

Exactly! I thought of NCLEX as life and death or "if I could do one thing for the patient and go home" Good advice!

That's what I did. I got 75q I didn't know anything but four questions. I asked myself what will kill this patient and what will keep them a live. I guess it worked I want know for sure until in the morning. I did the trick and got the good pop up. I hope the trick didn't stop working yesterday. lol
