Hi All,
I am an adult returning to school to get my RN-BSN and already hold a non-nursing BA. I know that I want to go all the way and get my NP eventually but am starting with my ABSN. I'm looking at programs only in Manhattan where I live and would love advice from those who have been there before me on programs that are affordable and accessible in the greater New York area besides just Columbia and NYU, these are arguably fantastic programs but I am not only concerned with the name on the diploma. I am also looking for a program I can get into, can afford, and will provide me a great quality education without the competitive BS or insurmountable debt afterwards. Advice is greatly appreciated!! Also took a great deal of my prereq's online how will this affect my acceptance? GPA is decent not great, a 3.5/3.6 average. Thank you!!

Can't help with info re: a particular program but if you aren't a licensed nurse right now, please change your username since it violates the site's Terms of Service to represent yourself as one.

Try looking at Hunter but that is competitive. I believe pace university also had an accelerated bsn program but it might be expensive as it is a private university
