Do what YOU think is best for you! I just found out from my former nursing director that I still get ATI help so I am going to do 6 weeks of that and will let you know how it went. I'm going to rescheduled my test date 6 weeks when I am done. They will give me a green light when I can test.
At my nursing school they (the school) went with ATI. So I can still access it a year after I graduate nursing school. I did do their assessments and it can be frustrating because the answers are conflicting in some books. But since it is offered for me, I'm just going to go through with it since I can access it for free.
The pros:
- only need to dedicated 2-3 hours each day.
-organized study plan laid out for each day (if you took a day off, they will start where you left off)
-nclex coach with you every day to challenge the student with questions while giving assignments to see how much the student is learning
The cons:
-needs at least 6 weeks to do the whole content
-all online
-haven't heard a lot of reviews about this course
-NCLEX schedule have to be flexible---(I scheduled my test already and they recommended that I should reschedule it so I rescheduled it for April 27th attentively.
