I'm looking to find the best app for my iphone that will be most beneficial for a 1 yr med/surg RN like myself transferring to the SICU. I use a drug app like daily on med/surg so I will continue to use that same app for drugs. But I know there is soooo much that I don't know in terms of critical care. Anyone have a favorite app that has saved lives (yours and the patients! )

I downloaded Fast Facts critical care A little costly. Like $30 or $40 can't remember but it's what I'm looking for. I also downloaded her Pedicare guide for $5 since I will be starting PICU in a few weeks. I'm sure they are less expensive apps tho.

I work in a MICU, and I DL'ed Critical Care ACLS version from Informed (I think it was about 5-10$) as well as Epocrates, Medscape and an ECG guide. I also have a quick convert units app and Micromedex

Don't waste your money. I downloaded two of them and never used them once.

For some fun, download the game Resuscitation! I'm seriously addicted. You get a patient and you are the ER doc and you gotta diagnose them and treat them. Not quite what you're talking about, but I think you'd love it.
P.s. I also use Micromedex for drug info, iPharmacy for photographic drug identification, and 3in1 Lab Values+ which is a great lab reference tool.
