I don't know brands but my patients in the home have used a bunch of different kinds. The ones that you set on the table and still use on upper arm seem to be the best. The wrist ones are not terrible..but seem the least accurate in my experience. No matter what kind - make sure the patient (or parents!) are relaxed, have arm at a relaxed extended heart level position(usually kitchen table) and then don't move around when it's doing it's thing. Overall, they are pretty close to my manual BP when I check them out..if they follow that advice of positioning.

I know these aren't terribly accurate (at least the one 20yrs ago weren't) but wanted to buy a nice/easy/ACCURATE BP machine for my parents. I was told they have come along way in recent years and now are pretty accurate. Any recommendations??
Thanks :)
