Best guide for meds and nursing procedures?

Published

So guys I failed nclex once because of my cockiness. I took a step back and decided to focus on content rather than just doing questions. I will be taking nclex again feb 4 if all goes as planned. I have NCLEX RN Cram 5th edition and let me tell you its too vague for my liking. I'm currently on chapter 12(out of 20) and every page is completely written with information that I have searched myself on google if i didnt understand it or felt It needed more elaboration. It has taken me approximately a 3 days and approximatly 6hrs daily(lol i read somewhere here that someone finished this book in two hours) to get to chapter 12. Only thing is IMO the book has a VERY weak medications chapter and barely has anything on nursing skills(BESIDES letting you know that you must master certain skills prior to each chapter). Can you guys lead me to where I can find a very solid medications guide or chapter and nursing skills detailed? I got hit with alot of SATA questions about skills and meds the first go around. Thanks
