I will be taking this monster test for the second time :sniff:...The only book I have is Saunders (green one) and I have been working on the CD but I know that is not enought. I am interested in using Kaplan because i hve heard nothing but good about it. I just dont know how to get that started:banghead:...I've googled it and only get lost on what to do or where to go. if anyone can help me or give me some advice on what to do I could not thank you guys enough!

I used Hurst Review. There are online lectures you can view. It costs 300 bucks, but it is well worth the money! I just took my NCLEX today and got the good pop up using the Pearson View Trick. My test was 75 questions long. I started to use Saunders as well, but it was super boring and I just couldn't motivate myself to study. Saunders is good to use the question bank and I also used the questions in NCLEX 3500, but there are some questions with Hurst review also. They give you 6 chances at taking an exam that contains 125 questions.

Lavender59...thank you I'm going to look into that. Do you recommend any?

LnMaR...I seen alot of people talkinf about the Hurst review but I can not afford that:twocents:....I bet it's worth it. Yes boring could not have picked a better word. Yah the good pop up thats exciting. I'm happy for you :w00t:. I hope when I take mine I get the same. Thanks again!

Well, there are still a ton of free resources out there. Do you have NCLEX 3500?

Here's the link: Main Menu - NCLEX-RN 3500 - Institutional Version

I hope it's ok to post it here.

You can also google "Nclex database questions free"

There are some good sites that have good practice questions.

BTW, kaplan is like 400-500 bucks, but I would still go with Hurst. They both have a money back guarantee if you don't pass the first time. There is a free app I downloaded with my iphone, it's Kaplan qtest bank. it gives you like a 100+ questions.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure you will do well - Good luck!!

Oh, and thank you, thank you! You will be in my position soon!

LnMaR...no I dont have that either I know horrible. I was going to get some Saunders flash cards with q&a with rationals but thre is so much out there. The Hurst is that for the PN or RN?

The Hurst is for RN,but they say you can use it for PN also. I took the NCLeX-RN and it helped! ;)

I see...thanks for all your help!!!

I would take the Kaplan course, it's pricey but it is guaranteed, but check with them about the guarantee due to this being the second time taking the test.

That is a very good point. Thanks for the heads up!
