I was just informed I was getting an interview at Akron this year!! Yay! No I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a book I should study before the interview! I have heard the interview is very tough and clinically based. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I would study up on some ccrn questions. Your best bet is to know your specialty inside and out. Most likely the questions will be based on the type of patients you deal with in the unit. I also found the sticky about interview questions very helpful and informative.

Good for you! Are you from Ohio? A list of books were included in their Letter of Acceptance. I dunno if i'll get interviewed but they said although I am qualified, I will have to take some core courses to be competitive. What about you, Have you taken any? I can't seem to find a school in southern cali that will admit non-degree seeking students... When is your interview by the way?

Anesthesia secrets and CCRN for sure. The interview is extremely clinically based...worse than the CCRN itself. Good luck.
