hi:heartbeati am still a pre-nursing student. a nurse i met today told me i should try getting an nclex review book. i am only taking ap1 now and next term ap2 and chemistry, micro in summer... so i shouldn't be starting ns til august 2010... but she told me it was best to start early. did anyone start reviewing for the nclex this early on? i suspect i won't understand anything so i feel kind of confused about getting one of those books. but just in case, what was the one that worked best for you? she told me lippincott was good.
well, any help is very much appreciated. :-):heartbeat

While it's great to start early, concentrate first on your pre-reqs. Get good grades on those and do well because these are the foundation of nursing practice. Worry about your nclex when your in nursing school or after graduating. How can you answer the nclex questions if you're not even well versed on the basics? Master the basics, and nail it hard on your head. When you do that, you'll find it easier to prepare for your nclex as you already know the topics by heart.
Thank you so much!! :)
