Travis AFB, CA. Hands down.

Fairchild AFB, Spokane, WA. Awesome place to raise a family. Nellis in Vegas has a good hospital but not a very family friendly city.

I am a Reservist out of Travis. :-) So, I'm pretty biased. But it's an excellent base in a great location!

I was station at there what unit are you with? ASTS, MDS, AES? I am now Air National Guard.

I'm in the ASTS. Lol. I used to be ANG when I was in Long Island. I loved the Guard! Are you at Moffett?

No, but I did consider transferring over there. How do you like the Guard over the Reserves? Or were you AD at Travis?

I like both the Guard and Reserves. I was once active duty as a med tech from 1995-1999. The guard goes on some cool AT's. last year we went to Puerto Rico. It is funny because I use to be a part of the ASTS when I was enlisted. Small world. How do you like that unit?

When were you in the ASTS?! How funny, it is small world. Are you an officer now? That's my next step is to commission. But they recently changed the requirements for commissioning in the Reserves that the RN has to have one year experience. Booo.

The unit is much better now that we have a new CC. She's awesome! When I first joined 2002, it was... how would I say it... miserable! Lol.

I left there in 2002 to go to college in Hawaii. I know exactly what you are talking about... Yes I go commission 2 years ago.

I joined in May 02... we probably crossed paths, no? Lol. Did you go to U of H? I went to Waikiki for my AT last summer. Not bad. :-) Where do you work now? Which hospital, and what dept?
