Hello. Is anyone else in the process of trying to get into the Bergen Community College day program for 2014?

Super Congrats!!! This is going to be a great group of smart nurses, I can tell :up:

I'm going to totally fast-foward here and throw up this link to an upcoming BLS CPR course (Holy Name): Holy Name Medical Center - Program Details (April 30th, 7-11)

I have to have CPR certification yearly, but of course it's not BLS - just in case anyone else has that issue. Make sure it's BLS! :cat:

I just want to take the time out to congratulate all the beginning nursing students for the fall semester. I am currently a level one student and it has been quite a serious journey. As nursing students we have no lives at all and it is non stop studying so I hope you are all ready for this amazing journey. Good luck to you all!!!!

congrats to all of you who got in!!! Im so happy for you guys and hope u gonna great nurses!!! Mine says ready to test so i dont know. maybe she sent the email to all of you who are already in and then she will tell us, those who didnt pass, that of course we are denied. Anyways, I'm gonna keep trying and never give up and apply for the evening program.

lterrones1123, you have a wonderful attitude. Never give up. If you happen to not be accepted, at least now you will have an idea as to what the Hesi exam entails and you will be better prepared than others for next time. I did get an email today from **** that confirms admittance into the program, as I assume others did. I would guess that everyone was accepted at the same time. If someone chooses to forego their acceptance or doesn't meet later requirements (e.g. not sending back their reply by the 29th or registering for classes by May 30th), than that opens up the opportunity for someone else to enter the program. I would suggest contacting **** to see if you're in or, if not, if there is a chance you may be accepted if someone else doesn't accept their invitation into the program. Good luck!!!

I have been accepted to the program, I currently don't have Health Insurance and was wondering if anybody had any info on a cheap one that would meet the requirements for the school. thanks

Congrats Mo10!

A friend of mine who is already in the program purchased a plan through healthcare.gov. I have private insurance through my husband's employer so that was ONE of the many things I did not have to worry about. Best of Luck!
