Hey everyone, my name is Sana! I have a 4.0 GPA, and got a 82.33 on the HESI.

I got my rejection letter back in April. But today I got an email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) saying someone dropped out and I was next on the waitlist (I didn't know they had a waitlist?)

So now, I'm in! Section 001. Cannot wait to meet all of you at the orientation!

And yes, I am very excited. I had pretty much given up hope and started to look at other schools. I am actually still waiting to interview at Holy Name's RN program.

Hello everyone, sorry I'm a little late to the party. I am in section 3 as well.

How much does the CPR class at Holy Name cost? Has anyone found anywhere cheaper?

Do you guys plan on working jobs once the program starts? I'm thinking about dropping down to part time at my currrent job but I'm still worried that I won't have enough time to study and get homework done; I really don't know what to expect as far as this programs workload goes (I've complete all of my non-nursing courses already so it will strictly be nursing classes for me).

Has anyone bought any of the textbooks yet? I'm debating between renting and buying; renting is cheaper but I feel like I might want these books for future reference.

And last question: has anyone begun to look into these uniforms? From what I can tell this company's only location is in Paterson and it doesn't look like they even have a website.

P.S. If anyone would like my input on any of the previously posted questions, just ask!

Hi, I'm in 003 too. Holy Name is $75 and that is pretty much going rate.

I'm probably just working a one day a week for some spending money. Figured since I've not done this before will try to set myself up for success.

Books. I've talked to some students that have said don't buy them, buy them, rent them, etc. Sounds like you want them. Amazon has the Fundamental package about $80 cheaper than bookstore.

Uniform. Paterson it is. Looks like it is only option. Just going to have to go there. Make a day of it. See the sights. Paterson in the summer is supposed to be great!
