I just recently applied for Bergen Community's Day Program for the fall. I know it is so early but i am going nuts just waiting for them to start reviewing applications. So i figured I'd start a thread to see who will also be applying!

So excited to meet everyone at orientation! Has anyone started looking into the cpr classes?

I'm scheduled for my physical exam today and waiting for my boss to schedule me for the CPR class at work. Most likely sometime next month. I'm just glad I don't have to pay for it.

I'm current on my CPR. I don't have to renew it until 2016. I highly recommend getting your CPR via AHA. I have had both Red Cross and AHA and feel that AHA is better. (Just my opinion) Plus, once you get AHA you're good for two years 😊 I'm trying to get everything done before orientation. Going for my PPD today.

Thanks for that info! I am going to be registering for my cpr class with AMA at Hackensack hospital today. I'm eager to get everything done by orientation as well. Next I'm gonna call about the . I heard that it was very cheap around $50 a year? Hopefully that's correct

I have to figure out the whole insurance business too. I'm an LPN and carry my own professional insurance. I have to see if I need two policies, or the one I carry already is already sufficient. I know mine was about 100$. You're probably right about the 50$
