is the Holy Name class a RC or AHA class? The packet says they only accept certification from those 2.

I have no idea yet, I am going to assume its like $20, it is AHA.
Even though I got the news a couple hours ago that I'm in, I'm panicking already and it feels like I'm losing time! Doh
---
$5 bandage scissors
$7 name pin
$54 pantsuit w/ emblem
$35 malpractice insurance
$110 (estimated) CPR certification
$125 nurse skills kit
--------------------
$336... yikes
Not to mention the books that we need for NUR181, 182, and 183 classes are about $100 each... penlights, stethoscopes, white shoes, wrist watch.
Oh Jeez. I don't even want to begin to think of the cost of everything! Mind you we get a $600 Nurse 181 Fee added onto our tuition.

which CPR Class did you guys sign up for and when? also did anyone buy the Insurance yet?
Wait what? I didn't know about the $600 nurse 181 fee O_O. Is that a fee for taking the class or the class itself?
______
Vness77,
Majority of us seem to have signed up for American Heart Association's class at Holy Name Hospital. I signed up for Dec 10, 2013's class at 8 AM to 12 PM.
You have to reserve a seat. The price is.. unknown for now. But Red Cross's classes are $110.
//edit
Nursing Fee for NUR 183 $600.00
I found it. My god. I don't know how I'm going to pay all of this. Yikes..
BerriePie,
what website did you go to reserve a seat, i am in the AHA site but i am confuse because they offer different CPR Classes. which one should i choose.
I know how you feel, I have always done the salliemae payment plan where it breaks down the tuition into monthly payments, blah, just have to keep reminding ourselves it will all be well worth it in the end.
It is the BLS CPR Healthcare Provider

Bsocarras, answered it haha but yeah -> It's called BLS Healthcare Provider. Make sure you choose the right one instead of renewal or whatever there is.

Bsocarras, I use the SallieMae payment plan as well
Scholarships Available
Here is the page full of scholarships under BCC. I'm going to go get some forms tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get lucky and get funded :)

See you see guys at Orientation. BTW if you go to the Bergen website and go to health profession and then nursing on the side they already put up the Spring 14 packets which has everything you need like the health forms etc, if you guys want to get a head start.
