Anyone apply for the RN evening program starting this coming spring 2014??? I did and am a little sad at my Hesi score. I want to know what others have scored...

I'm trying to order my book.. how many books are there in total?

I ordered about 5 of the books in the list which totalled to $120 something becuz i rented them from chegg...thanx to the girl that mentioned it because i did not even know about chegg.com

i ordered mine from amazon.. i think i got almost everything ready to start classes.. i just want this semester to be done and over with.. :nailbiting:

did anyone pick up their nursing kit? and did anyone else have a problem getting their name pin from the uniform store??

I call the place that is making our nursing kit and the person who answer the phone said it will be ready to be picked up in school on the first day of class... no problems with the name pin .. i went and took everything home on the same day., they did everything for me right on the spot.

How weird when I went they said I would have to come back and pick it up or have them delivered ...I said deliver them because I did not want to drive there again. I get my package with my uniform tops and a post-it saying name pin will follow up ...so now I'm here with no name pin ...is the name pin special? Like does it have the bergen logo or anything? Or just plain?? I'm pretty upset about this. I hope it's true we won't have to wear our uniforms the first week but who's! They're closed today so I have to wait till tomorrow to give them a call. Did anyone get bandage scissors??

it is just a plain name tag with a pin.. nothing special about it. I totally understand you about not wanting to go back there. i was pretty upset when i found out that they don't have parking and i had to pay like $5 to park.

Maybe i just got lucky, but i tried my uniform and turns out it did not need alteration, all the had to do was to put the bergen

tags on the tops and they engraved the pin right there two.

They spelled my name wrong on the pin haha. Do we need the name pins? Or are they optional. Also anybody know what we are supposed to do for classes tomorrow since we haven't started clinical's yet. Do we still have some sort of class?

Also, for the health insurance the school is offering it only for health professionals, you have to go to bursar to get it.

Also which books did you guys choose? As I know they give us a few options.

Also check out ValoreBooks.com it might be cheaper than chegg, just checked a few books they are about 50% cheaper to rent than chegg.

i got an 82 at the entrance HESI and now im at Lvl 3 nursing. i dont think its a big deal lol
