Hello,
Anyone applying for Bergen Community College Fall 2019?
Before thinking of what to do with work, I need to figure out what to do with my 2 year old. I haven’t thought it through because I don’t know if I’ll be accepted to begin this coming cycle. If I do, then i need to figure out babysitting or daycare or nursery school. Anyone else have an infant or toddler?
I work part time now in a pharmacy as a pharmacy technician. I’m going to see if I can work less hours....

My daughter is 6 and will be in first grade this fall. When I was in school when she was younger, i put her through daycare but it did cost a fortune. If you have family around, they can really help with taking care of your child. BCC also has an oncampus daycare and its discounted for students as well. Worth checking out.

I really hope we all get in. You still have a chance as well as everyone else here.
Fyi, I believe our program has clinicals on weekends as well and we dobt really have a day on what day we have them
Someone in my A+P 2 class who is waiting to hear about her admission to the Fall program as well says she spoke to the Health Professions counselor and she said they are "overwhelmed" with applications and may not be able to get through them all/notify us until the last week of April/almost May! I am hearing this secondhand, but I hope that it is not true. The past few years notifications have gone out by like 2 weeks from now.

Not looking forward to that longer wait time. Thank you for the information!
So I just received an email from her and she that that’s correct, we won’t have a confirmation until the end of April. Hopefully they’re just telling people that because they don’t want us to drive them nuts everyday until the results come in, you know? It’s still super disappointing though and I’m feeling discouraged.

Ugh. Of course. I am so anxious and this is really disappointing news. It's also like - I have to plan what I am going to do class-wise if I don't get accepted, and registration is open for Summer and Fall as of Monday. I hope you are right and they are just covering their bases by saying notification is going to be that much later than in previous years.
@LizCarola Same with me! I’m just going to register for classes for the Fall just in case, because right now it’s all up in the air.

Yes. I am still going to be working, definitely part time-ish so about anywhere from 25-30 hours.
I work as a CNA.
