  1. So I just took my Peds exam today and got a 77. Our passing grade is a 77.45. Normally, my grade isn't a big issue since classes average out all exams and clinical grades together. However, my Maternity/Pediatric class states on the syllabus: "A grade of 77.45% is required on ALL objective tests for passing theory portion of course." We only have 3 exams total. One for Maternity, one for Peds, and one Final. Does it make sense to fail a student cause they failed 1 exam? I got an 86 on my first exam and a 77 on the second. I am praying my professor curves but its highly unlikely since they didn't curve the previous one. Any advice? (This is my second time in this nursing program after failing out back in 2014. This is also the farthest I have ever gotten in the program. With COVID and everything, I don't know if I can hold out for another year to retake the class.
  2. Congrats to everyone. I only recommend something comfortable. Clinicals tend to be 9 hours long 7am - 4pm All white.
  3. Give it some time. There was that situation on Monday so that could have an impact on the decision being delayed. It is true if it doesnt change, you might have not gotten in or you are on a waitlist. Just gotta be patient. Competing against thousands of applicants for 80 to 90 seats makes it seem like the odds arent in your favor. Fyi i got in with an 84 on the teas and a 3.3 gpa Most of my classmates got lower teas but had 4.0
  4. my.bergen.edu > webadvisor for prospective students > admission information
  5. Continue checking your my.bergen.edu and itll say whether or not you got accepted. Thats how most people know they got in before the email is sent out
  6. Im in the day program so I got mine the beginning of March. I did email to check cause some people got their invitation before I did.
  7. 80 is considered competitive but the average falls around mid 70s. If you score above the average, your chances of being accepted is high.
  8. Hey all Level 1 nursing student I used Kaplan for my TEAS and scored a 84 which is considered competitive. Keep practicing, especially the science portion. Alot of things to memorize there.
  9. Hey guys. Acceptance confirmation link is working now
  10. Also, from what I can remember, books bought new (excluding the optional ones) were about $500. Uniforms are also quite expensive but I only bought 2 pairs and rotated them weekly. Save you pennies now!
