Hey guys! So I'm applying to the BCC evening nursing program that starts in spring 2016. Is there anyone else out there who is applying with me? I'm going crazy with anticipation for the applications to open lol. I just want to get started already!!
Ugh me too!!!!!! I feel the same exact way josh! I have a friend who's in the nursinf program and when I told her "Sam I got an 83" she replies "congrats you got in you can officially get your uniform" I was like no
i don't think it's good enough shes like
i gotin with a solid 80into the fall program. I mean sure it gives me encouragement but it changes every year idk how this group is!! It's nerve wrecking!!!
That's awesome :) thanks for the motivation! I know we will !!! This is something I've always dreamed of . My end goal is to become a nurse practioner, so to have this encouragement truly makes me not want to ever give up. I don't see myself doing anything else. I have a good feeling well be seeing each other this January! All of us, and from there we'll work as hard as we can to become the best nurses possible!
For those of us who do not get in, do not give up. Try, try again! I know someone who was the top, #1 score on the entrance exam and she failed out of the program in Level 2. So, the score is not indicative of whether or not you will be successful in the program. If you are the type to panic on tests, practice taking computerized tests. Learn how to calm/focus yourself.
The support from everyone is great, and I hope it continues throughout the nursing program. We will need it!
Chin up everyone and good luck!
I am so glad to have found all of your posts....I related to everything. I wish I had found them sooner and was able to go through the whole experience with everyone. I am eagerly awaiting the results as well, I received an 85 on my exam, and wonder if that will be high enough. I am so glad to see all the support on here, it is very refreshing and reassuring. :)
I really wouldn't panic nsumrein (I know, easier said than done! lol).
I know someone who got in with an 82 a couple of years ago. I also know someone who took it March 2015 for day program. She got an 80 and did not get in. We have heard of people getting in with lower scores. It really depends on how many people scored higher than you versus how many seats are available.
Honestly, I would think that you are in, and would be surprised if you did not get in.

The anticipation guys! I hope we find out.this week. I am really praying for all of us on this board. We deserve it I believe we have decent scores. Last years evening , 14. And 13 I've seen people get i with a 76, 80, and 83, 84 and up. We are all within that range. We can all hope for the best! I've been positive it will just be disappointing to have an unexpected sad outcome
